2021 Recap & 2022 Race Plans

2021 Recap -

(Spring) I traveled to two of the US Pro Cups - the double header in Fayetteville, AR & the Englewood Open in Madison. Both were really great race experience. Strong fields and challenging courses. I may not have gotten the results I was really hoping for but I made some great connections and learned A TON (and learned what technical features I needed to really work on). I race the Transylvania Epic this year. Wow. Anything can happen in a stage race. Single track summer camp is absolutely the best way to describe it.

(Summer) I jumped into a couple of local races but didn’t travel as much because I was focused on finishing my masters degree.

(Fall) This is when it got really good! I got the opportunity to race in the Snowshoe WORLD CUP! Since it was so close to Roanoke I was able to stay in a friend’s condo and practice the course all week before the big race. P32 in my first world cup and I also got to race short track! After Snowshoe I traveled to Alberta for a Canada Cup which was also incredible!

I ended the season with 49 points, far surpassing my 2019 1 UCI point!

2022 Plans -

I am excited to have a better call-up due to all those points I earned last season! I am planning to race more US Pro Cups, and will hopefully have the opportunity to race Snowshoe again or maybe race a Europe block!

Cheers to the new year and new adventures!!
